Throughout the history of Western civilization, architectural and furniture
embellishments have drawn on powerful elements found in nature. During the building
of the great cathedrals of Europe, stained glass windows became the technique
through which the artist's view of nature was expressed. The flower blossom found its
most grand and glorious interpretation in the famed rose glass window of Paris' Notre
Dame Cathederal.
The centerpiece medallion is a simplified graphic abstraction of this famed window's
structure. It attests to our very human capacity for making new and renewed beauty,
through the application of our inherent power for heightened consciousness. The

jade (serpentine) stone from which this grape cluster has been hand-carved. Look
past the seeming risk to step through the window of opportunity and your life will
make purposeful difference in the lives of others and, in turn will allow you to discover
the ultimate experience of human joy.
